BlockBeats News, November 7th, according to Bloomberg, Keonne Rodriguez, co-founder of the cryptocurrency mixer Samourai Wallet, has been sentenced to five years in prison in a money laundering case, where he had laundered hundreds of millions of dollars from illegal dark web transactions and a fraud scheme. On Thursday, Rodriguez was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Denise Cote to the highest term for a conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business, and Rodriguez has pleaded guilty to the charge.
